Make a splash
Our Canoeing section has been running since the early eighties and is heavily centred on the river Thames. We also carry out kayaking and canoeing activities on local lakes and canals and during the winter months we offer technique training on our specialist canoeing equipment located in the BEJSC Sports Hall.
Location: BEJSC Sports Hall, New Road, Bourne End, SL8 5BW, local river, lakes and canals
Ages: 8 to 18
Equipment Required: No specific clothing is required. Life jackets, kayaks and paddles all provided
Competition(s): Devizes to Westminster (subject to ability criteria), internal club competitions
Affiliation: British Canoeing

David started the Canoeing section over 25 years ago and continues to date to provide young people with access to the sport of kayaking and canoeing. Assisted by his son Kevin they have taught many children over the years from beginner up to athletes representing team GB!
Fees:
Annual Membership Fee is £28 (payable in September)
