We’re 50 This Year!

Having started with a bang in 1970, BEJSC has gone from strength to strength.

We’ve now reached our 50th year and are planning a series of events to mark this auspicious occasion. So what are we planning. we hear you ask!

Firstly we created a book, all about the first 50 years and a copy can be bought from this very website by clicking here

Then, on NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED from 12:00pm to 4:00pm we are holding a fun day in Wooburn Park. We will have a series of activities including a 150ft inflatable obstacle course, a surf simulator, giant jenga, giant connect 4, table football, penalty shootout, table tennis, basketball. We’ll also have some refreshments and drinks concessions, including most importantly ice cream and candy floss 🙂

During the week of NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED we will be displaying a timeline in the community centre which shows the history and development of the club, including those who have made it possible. You may be one of them! We will also be decorating the village centre with as much blue and yellow as we are allowed.

Finally, to close off the occasion we are holding a formal dinner and auction evening at The Odney Club in Cookham on NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED. There will be a 3 course dinner with wine, auctions, awards and lots of reminiscing. Tickets are limited to 200, so if you want to support and celebrate the clubs achievements we’d recommend buying your tickets as quickly as possible. They can of course be bought here.

We are really excited about this year and the future of the club and hope you join in with one or all of the events.
