We have spaces, for both Juniors and Seniors. Plus we are currently looking for someone to run our junior section so if you are interested please contact us!

All players are welcomed; from new beginners to experienced experts. There are three Badminton courts in the Sports Hall. We run two sessions a week.

Monday: 6:30 - 7:30pm Seniors - Age Group 12 to 18 years.

Thursday: 6:00 - 7:30pm Seniors - Age group 12 - 18+ years.

Each year we run a club tournament with awards to Winners and Runners up which are presented at the Prize-giving in July.

The Basketball section runs two sessions on a Friday after school.

The Junior session is aimed at children between 7 and 12. This session has a regular turnout and has competed in the Bucks Junior league. It starts at 5:30pm and finishes at 7:00pm. We have four coaches who are all experienced and 3 play for the senior section. They learnt to play through BEJSC and are giving all they gained back. The head coach is also a fully qualified BBL referee. We will work them hard, but it is made to enjoyable whilst learning the basics.

This section starts from age 8. The Canoeing Section of BEJSC provides both training and racing opportunities. Now it’s the summer, we train on the river, on Mondays, Tuesday’s for beginners and Fridays for the more advanced with a selection of various canoes to try out, although this does depend on your ability; during the winter, we have a canoe machine which we use at the Sports Club. The races which we take part in, gain points for the club which go toward the ‘Hasler Finals’ which we aim to take part in each year.

The Climbing section runs climbing sessions for ages 6-18, however we do have a very long waiting list, so please be patient if you are on it currently. At the moment we run seven sessions a week. Two seniors groups and five junior groups. We work on a range of skills and techniques, and even invent our own games to help challenge us e.g. pirates!. Earlier this year we invented the sport of Wall Surfing, this although being a lot of fun will also help us with our balance and getting to know the wall better.

This section is the club’s biggest section with over 300 members. There are competitive groups for boys and girls from 5-16. Playing at: BEJSC, Wye Valley School, Wooburn Manor Park, Little Marlow and Bourne End Recreation Ground.

Girls Football

The girls football was set up 4 seasons ago and has developed into a section with approx. 30 members. This season there are three teams, an U12, U14 and a Ladies team. The Bourne End Buffaloes

The Bourne End Buffaloes have been established for 12 years since September 1997. The club has been involved in competitive games for over 10 years playing friendlies and league games, along with Tournaments. The club joined the British Inline Puck Hockey Association in October 1997 and played their first game against the formerly known Bristol Knights now known as the Bristol Barracudas. The club has since played in 2 leagues, playing 2 years in the National Inline Roller Hockey Association finishing 2nd in both under 13’s and under 15’s age group’s in 2003-04 season. This section takes members from age 6 and meets at the Main Building (find it here) on Friday evenings, starting at 7:00pm and finishing at 8:15pm. Girls and Boys welcome! Each week we will help to develop the techniques and styles for certain throws and holds. We do a mixture of standing and ground work, and quite often a game to finish off with. Currently there is a group of twelve children up to eleven years of age. At the present we are full but spaces will be allocated from our waiting list as and when they are available.

We are the swimming section of the Bourne End Junior Sports Club. We have been providing opportunities for young people to become involved in a wide variety of sporting activities since 1970. We are a thriving club competing in open meets and galas at many levels through the year. We swim at the Handy Cross pool and the Wycombe Abbey pool, both in High Wycombe.
